The Playstation 3 is the third installment to the Playstation console by Sony. Many people prefer the Playstation to its competitors the 'Wii' and 'Xbox 360.' Why is it 'supposedly better in my perception? Well, firstly the online multi-player is free, massive, interactive/social, cool, and very entertaining. On Xbox a subscription must be made to play online and for Wii, it is not as massive and is slower. Playstation 3 is also a cheaper alternative to play Blu-ray disc's and includes 4 USB slots. It has a wi-fi receiver to use the internet and game titles on the Playstation 3 are much better, also there is the Playstation Move which is motion sensored and is excellent in creativity. Also the Playstation is compatible with its other products like being able to play certains PS2 games and being able to connect to the PSP. The Playstation 3 is long lasting and won't brake down easy on you like the Xbox and the well known 'line of death,' which is these sudden lines which appear when playing to long and unexpectedly shuts off and never opens. So that is a basic idea of the Playstation 3 and you can learn more about it on the official website!
