Cruelty In Libya

As everyone knows most countries of the Middle East have been in a chain series of protests to pressure their leaders into resignation. It started with Tunisia, Egypt, Bahrain, and now Libya. In Egypt, President Hosni Mubarak resigned after a long time of pressure from the citizens. The different thing in Libya is that the President Gaddafi is using force to prevent the protests in Libya. It is estimated that around 800 people were killed from the governmental forces. They were using bullets and tanks against their own citizens! How could that be, how could the leader kill his own people like that. He tried to even bomb a part of Western Libya and many Libyans are in fear. The UN and US are helping out. In fact, Us sent some ferries to transport the Libyans away from danger. I don't know whats going to happen in the future but we'll see soon. I pray for the safety of all the innocent people there, especially since my friend is living in Benghazi, Libya.

Anthrax

This disease was known for giving a massive scare to the US back in 2001. Anthrax is a type of fungi bacteria that develops in soil. It can be spread by breathing them in, touching anthrax infected animals or materials, and by skin exposure (A cut or opening in your skin). The disease itself isn't common for humans but rather for animals. Animals which graze on Anthrax infected grass/soil, can be infected. Anthrax isn't contagious and cannot spread unless you have direct contact with the spores. If infected, you have to take anti-biotics like penicillin.

A terrorist attack to the US was probably the most notable event for Anthrax. Two notes were sent, one to a major media center and another to Senators. The Anthrax letters were believed to be from Princeton, New Jersey. Many people were killed and others were infected. Hearing of this attack, major precautions were made to the President and civilians stocked up on anti-biotics. One of the most commonly used anti-biotics was Ciprofloxacin.

What makes Anthrax so dangerous? The symptoms for Anthrax would seem like a symptom for a different disease. If spores were swallowed then you would vomit and have a loss of appetite. If you breathed it in then you would have problems with breathing. If your skin was infected then it would look like a bug bite. Death would happen 1-2 days after the symptoms appear. It is hard to notice if a place is infected by Anthrax because it isn't visible to the eye. These days Anthrax isn't common because most places are treated and medicine is available, because of this, it is a minor health risk.

Call Of Duty

Zombies invade the pentagon in the map 'Five.'
J.F.K, Fidel Castro, Richard Nixon, and the US Secretary Of Defense defend themsleves.
Call Of Duty is a famous first person shooting game based on history. It is mostly famous for its big branch of multiplayer online. You can connect to the internet and quickly join a match and battle people. The game consists of many weapons from RPG's, sub-machine guns, shotguns, snipers, rifles, and unique wonder weapons. Wonder weapons are special sci-fi based weapons that aren't in real life but was put in the game as an extra, for example, there is a ray-gun which shots of circles of rays which do extremely high damage. In Call Of Duty World At War and Black Ops, which is made by Treyarch, there is a mini-game called Zombies. It is a very horrifying action packed game, which is based on you (the character) being stuck in an area and you have to survive mass hordes of zombie waves coming at you. As you progress and make money, you can buy weapons and power-ups. This game is great online because you can work in a team to survive longer. Call Of Duty is made by Activision mostly, but some games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare is made by Infinity Ward, while games with the Zombies mode is made by Treyarch. The campaign for Call Of Duty is really fun and has an epic story-line based on real history. This game is recommended for all first person shooting game fans.

Happy Birthday Yayah!

You keep the family in order and discipline,
You care and worry when ones in trouble.
You help me remember to practice my violin.
If anyone needed help, you'd come on the double.

Your Birthday is on a blessed day

Smartphones

Blackberry Torch
What is the definition of a smartphone to you? A touch screen phone, a phone with a full letter keypad, a phone with a GPS, or simply a faster computing graphical phone? Any of these or more can be whats in a smartphone. Today, the 'Top Dogs' of the smartphone industry are mostly Iphones or Blackberrys. But there are more like the Android, HTC, Ovi, or Palm Treo. In my opinion, I like Apples Iphone because it is fully touch-screen, sleek, and has easy access to multiple applications. In fact, the iphone/ipod touch/ipad are considered gaming devices like the PSP or Ninetendo DS. That may sound weird that a phone could be a gaming device but actually it is. You can play really big branded games like Call Of Duty Zombies, N.O.V.A, Need For Speed, Street Fighter, Angry Birds, GTA, Battlefield Badcompany 2, and even Spiderman! There are way more games on the application store and the prices are reasonable. The Blackberry is more business like because of its smart look and key-pad plus touch-screen features. The applications for the Blackberry are also in wide variety being more focused on social networking. But all the smartphone's are really based on opinion. Which one do you prefer?
